Megyn Kelly will be in a different kind of spotlight this weekend. She will be featured in the New York Times Sunday Magazine. Before you make a face, or roll your eyes, guess what?
It’s not a hit piece.
Yes, you read that right. The liberal media is in fact capable of non-biased reporting and writing. Whoa. I can’t believe I just got to type that non-sarcastically.
The magazine’s chief political correspondent, Jim Rutenberg, praises the host of “The Kelly File” for her willingness to ask tough questions on both sides of any given issue.
Apparently, her little move has gotten a nickname as well.
The phrase, “Megyn moment” has been termed by Rutenberg to describe those times when Kelly calls out a guest or contributor. Whether the position is conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat, if it’s ridiculous, she’s on it.
Basically, she’s really good at her job.
No wonder she has four times the ratings of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.
Since joining Fox, she has quickly risen to the top, claiming the top spot for “non-sports program in the time slot for all of basic cable television viewers” according the Conservative Tribune.
Her no-nonsense approach, easy laugh and low tolerance for crap will surley make her a favorite for many years to come.
