George Zimmerman just released a new video, in which he accuses President Obama of heightening racial tensions after the shooting of Trayvon Martin.
He said in the interview, recorded with his divorce lawyer, “Instead of rushing to judgment, making racially charged comments and pitting American against American, I believe that he [Obama] should have taken the higher road. If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon. For him to make incendiary comments as he did and direct the Department of Justice to pursue a baseless prosecution, he by far over-stretched, over-reached.”
Zimmerman said that he had a clean conscience. He also called the president “Barack Hussein Obama.”
Since Zimmerman was cleared in the shooting of Martin, he has reported rejected every interview request. He instead chose to record this video on his own.
