Since becoming president six years ago, Obama has repeatedly shown that he is a hypocrite like no other. He proved this once again on Monday when he chastised wealthy parents for ignoring the plight of the poor by sending their children to private schools.

“Those who are doing better and better, more skilled, more educated, — luckier — having greater advantages are withdrawing from the commons,” the president said while speaking at Georgetown University. “Kids start going to private schools, kids start working out at private clubs instead of the public parks, an anti-government ideology then disinvests from those common goods and those things that draw us together.”

This is incredibly ironic considering the fact that Obama’s own daughters attend the elite Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. One again, Obama wants to tell everyone else what to do, but he doesn’t want the rules to apply to himself.

Obama’s solution to this school “problem” is to toss more of our money at our country’s already dysfunctional public school system.

“Part of what’s happened is, is that elites in a very mobile, globalized world are able to live together, away from folks who are not as wealthy, and so they feel less of a commitment to making those investments,” Obama continued.

These “elites” are exactly the crowd that Obama loves to hang with as he and his family take extravagant vacations all over the world.

Instead of spending more tax dollars, conservatives believe that the best way to fix this problem is to offer school choice, which would allow deserving students from bad public schools to be propelled into private schools where they can get the kind of education they want.

Obama, however, will never let that happen. He never misses an opportunity to spend even more American tax dollars!
