The rumor about Walmart’s Great Value brand of ice cream is that they never melt, even if they’re left in the sun. According to American Overlook, a radio station in Sioux Falls decided to put this to the test, and what they found out left them stunned.
They took a Great Value ice cream sandwich and left it in the 80 degree sun, planning to watch it for an hour. When they came back to check on after twenty minutes, they were stunned to find that it hadn’t melted at all.
After a full hour, the Walmart ice cream finally started to melt, but this took far too long. Normal ice cream starts to melt in the sun within minutes, so this begs the question: is Walmart ice cream even real?
I don’t know about you, but I won’t be buying ice cream from Walmart again…
