A fisherman in Colorado learned the hard way that nature is both beautiful and terrifying earlier this month when he found a dead fish in the water.
At first, he thought the fish was normal, but then he noticed that it had fully formed legs. Look closely at the photo above, and you’ll see them too!
It turns out that the fish is probably an axolotl, which is an amphibian that is related to the salamander. This species of fish also has fully formed legs.
While there is no concrete proof that the fish in the first photo is an axolotl, it seems very likely that it is!
