Over the last six years, the liberal media has rallied behind the Obamas and allowed them to get away with a ridiculous number of antics. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Michelle Obama is making moves towards taking over the press when she leaves office.
Michelle has just made her debut as “guest editor” for the women’s magazine “More.” According to Daily Mail, she guest-edited the July-August edition, pitching, writing and editing pieces “up until the last minute.”
Many see this as an indication that Michelle may be moving towards the editor of a major liberal publication when her husband leaves office.
“There’s never been a first lady who’s ever guest-edited a magazine and certainly not a sitting first lady,” said Lesley Jane Seymour, More’s editor-in-chief. “We hope this issue will empower readers to create positive change, whether by supporting one of the First Lady’s programs or another cause. I’m very proud of the whole issue—it shows the best of More and showcases the wonderful First Lady.”
Seymour added that the edition revolves around Michelle’s “point of view on the world and it’s from her eyes.” She said that Michelle, “was reading every page and asking for changes up until the last minute. She had to approve absolutely everything. She had to suggest various things, too.”
Woof…It sounds like this edition would make the PERFECT toilet paper!
In her letter from the guest editor, Michelle raised some eyebrows by opening up about issues in her own marriage.
“Just days after my family moved to Washington back in 2009, my daughters started their first day at their new schools.
I went with Malia, my mother accompanied Sasha, and as I watched my girls climb into those big black cars filled with agents with guns and saw Sasha’s little face pressed against the window as her car pulled away, it hit me: What on earth were we doing?
What were Barack and I doing to our daughters? What were we doing to our marriage? Would they be OK? Would we be OK?
At that moment, I made a promise to myself—and my girls—that I would do everything possible to make this disruption to their lives worthwhile.”
Oh yeah, Michelle, we feel SO sorry for you and your family…You’ve spent the last six years spending millions of our tax dollars on your own extravagant lifestyles. Sounds like a really tough life!
