A few months ago, liberal nitwit Rosie O’Donnell unceremoniously left the struggling talk show The View after her wife left her. Recently, Barbara Walters revealed that the show actually did not want Rosie back anyway, and that they were looking forward to naming her replacement.

After months of trying out different hosts, it has been revealed that 29 year-old Raven-Symone will be replacing Rosie on the show. This should come as no surprise to fans of the talk show, as the former child star has guest-hosted on The View 37 times.

“The Disney Company has made another one of my dreams come true! Being a part of The View family will be a wonderful growing experience for me,” Raven-Symone said in a statement. “The cast and crew are warm and welcoming and has made the transition into daytime talk easier. I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host.”

“I want to thank ABC, ABC News and The Disney Company for believing in me and my potential! Let’s have some fun!” she added.

Raven-Symone has been known for speaking out against race-baiters, despite the fact that she herself is black. She was slammed by liberals a few months ago when she dared to defend a television host who compared Michelle Obama to a monkey.

“I don’t think he was saying it racist,” Symoné said while guest-hosting The View. “Not Michelle Obama. Michelle, don’t fire me from this right now, but some people do look like animals.”

“Is that rude? I look like a bird… so can I be mad at somebody that calls me Toucan Sam?” Symoné added, according to MSNBC.

This wasn’t the first time Symone defied race-baiters. Last year, she told Oprah that she was sick of being labeled as an “African American.”

“I’m tired of being labeled. I’m an American. I’m not an African-American; I’m an American,” she said. Oprah then protested, but Symone continued:

“I mean, I don’t know where my roots go to. I don’t know how far back they go…I don’t know what country in Africa I’m from, but I do know that my roots are in Louisiana. I’m an American. And that’s a colorless person. What I really mean by that is I’m an American. That’s what I really mean. I have darker skin. I have a nice, interesting grade of hair. I connect with caucasian. I connect with Asian. I connect with black. I connect with Indian. I connect with each culture.”

Judging from these experiences, it looks like Raven-Symone may be the perfect host to shake things up on The View!
