I use butter every morning when I make breakfast, so I spend quite a lot of money on the product every year. After watching this video, however, I’ll never be buying butter again!

First, grab some heavy whipping cream and fill a mason jar about halfway with it. Then, tightly close the lid and shake the jar so that the cream can solidify. Keep shaking until the contents of the jar start to turn yellow, then if you unscrew the lid, you’ll see some solid butter along with some liquid.

After you’ve done this, put a strainer on a plate and empty the contents of the jar onto it. The liquid will fall through, leaving only solid butter on the plate. It really is that simple!
