A bridal shop in Chihuahua, Mexico has garnered worldwide fame thanks to the mysterious mannequin that has stood in their window for 75 years.
The mannequin is nicknamed La Pascualita, or Little Pascuala, after the shop’s owner, Pascuala Esparaza.
Locals have long suspected that the mannequin is actually the corpse of the owner’s daughter, who tragically died from a Black Widow spider bite on her wedding day.
Paschuala denied that the mannequin was her daughter’s dead body, but by then the rumor had already spread to the point that nobody believed her.
Locals say that the mannequin often shifts positions at like, and her eyes sometimes follow customers around the store.
Though the mannequin’s dress is changed often, only the store’s owner and a few trusted employees are permitted to change her.
Over the years, La Pascualita has been embraced by the locals, who pray to her and leave her gifts.
Do you think this could be a corpse, or is it just a normal wax dummy? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
