Earlier this week, we reported that the FBI had raided the home of longtime Subway spokesman Jared Fogle. Now, they have released more details about their investigation, and it’s not looking good for Fogle …

According to Mediaite, the FBI was tipped off by a female friend of Fogle’s, who told them that the spokesman had made inappropriate comments to her about young girls. The woman declined to give her name to the press, but she did say that she had talked to numerous times over the last 10 years, when he would give lectures at various schools and events.

“He said something to me when we were off camera and that really stuck with me,” the woman recounted. “I thought to myself, ‘Did he really say that to me?’”

She went on to say that Fogle told her that, “middle-school girls are hot.” The woman was so disturbed that she contacted the FBI, telling them that the comments, “weren’t jokes. They were serious.”

She could not reveal anything else that Fogle told her because the investigation is still pending, but she did say that the FBI had her wear a wire and record conversations with Fogle.

The backlash from the child porn raid has been swift. Just hours after the FBI raided Fogle’s home, he was abruptly dropped by Subway after more than a decade of working with them. A cameo he made in the upcoming television movie Sharknado 3 was also cut from the film.
