Federal agents raided the home of Subway spokesman Jared Fogle early Tuesday morning investigating child pornography.
According to Daily Mail, a special task force showed up at Fogle’s Zionsville, Indiana home at 6:30 a.m. and detained him outside while they removed electronics from the property. Authorities say that Fogle, 37, is not under arrest at this time, and that his wife and children left the home just before the raid.
Fogle shot to fame in the late 1990s, when he lost 245 pounds eating an all-Subway diet. He then became a spokesman for the company, and is now reportedly worth $15 million.
This raid comes just a month after the executive director of Fogle’s Jared Foundation, which fights child obesity, was arrested on child pornography charges. Russell Taylor, 43, was arrested in May on seven counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
On Tuesday, Fogle was seen leaving a police van with agents and leading them back into his home. It remains to be seen if Fogle will also find himself arrested for possessing child pornography.
