Rosie O’Donnell’s adopted daughter Chelsea turned 18 a few weeks ago, and as soon as she reached legal age, she got as far away from her “mom” as she possibly could!
According to Daily Mail, Rosie’s adopted daughter left home immediately after her birthday to move in with her birth mom, who has been fighting to get her back from the liberal comedian for years now. Though Rosie has often called Chelsea “mentally ill,” the girl’s birth mom Deanna Micoley has strongly denied these claims.
Deanna, 38, picked her daughter up from New York to drive her to her modest home in Niagara, Wisconsin. A mother of five, Deanna says she is overjoyed to have Chelsea home and away from Rosie.
“There’s nothing wrong with her [Chelsea],” Deanna said. “She’s out with family right now and she’s great.”
Chelsea beamed as she hung out outside her mother’s home, telling reporters that “everything is fine.”
Weeks before her birthday, Chelsea vanished from Rosie’s home, launching a frantic search for her. She was found eight days later at the home of her boyfriend, 25-year-old Steven Sheerer, who is a convicted heroin dealer.
Great parenting, Rosie…Let’s hope Deanna can do a better job!
“I would just shake my head at Rosie at this point,” Deanna said. “I don’t think Chelsea has mental illness and I don’t think medication is something that she definitely needs.”
We’re so glad that Chelsea is home where she belongs. NO child should be raised anywhere near Rosie O’Donnell!
