Gin and Tonic is a good go-to drink. It’s simple and reliable. The drink originated in the 17th century when tonic water was used as a means to prevent and treat malaria and drinking a little tonic was recommended daily. Looking to dress up the taste and add a bit of a buzz, eventually gin was mixed in and a classic drink was born — all in the name of health!
