Yesterday, Hollywood star Charlie Sheen revealed that he has been HIV positive for the last four years. Now, details of how he desperately tried to keep his diagnosis secret have come to light.

During the interview with the Today Show, Sheen admitted he has paid people “millions” to keep his diagnosis a secret.¬†According to Daily Mail, Sheen reportedly paid one porn actress $10 million in hush money after she discovered his HIV pills after an unprotected sex session.

Jason Quinlan, a close friend of the actress, said that Sheen booked her and a female friend for a threesome at his Beverly Hills mansion in 2011. After a 12-hour drug, alcohol and sex marathon in his $7.5 million home, the actor nonchalantly asked the young porn star to fetch his HIV pills from the bathroom. At first, she thought he was making a sick joke, but when Sheen insisted, she went into the bathroom and found the pills.

“The other girl had left and my friend was lying in bed with Charlie when he asked her to get his HIV pills from the bathroom,” Quinlan said. “She was completely shocked, she found a cocktail of pills in his bathroom. She told me there was all kinds of bottles with Charlie’s name on the side prescribed to treat HIV.”

“She felt sick, she told me she had been having unprotected sex with Charlie and was convinced she had contracted HIV from him,” he added. “She told me, ‘I’d been having unprotected sex with him for almost a year along with 50 other girls at minimum.'”

When she confronted Sheen, he laughed it off.

“Charlie told her not to worry about it, he said his viral count is zero,” Quinlan said. “But that means nothing, it certainly doesn’t mean he can’t spread the virus.”

Quinlan went on to say that the experience was “extremely distressing” for the porn star, and sent her on a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol.

Finally, Quinlan and a lawyer helped the porn star get clean and they eventually contacted Sheen threatening to file a personal injury lawsuit. Sheen quickly settled with the actress, agreeing to pay her a whopping $10 million in installments over the course of five years in exchange for her signing a non-disclosure agreement in which she promised to never discuss the actor’s condition.

Quinlan believes the actress has since left the porn industry, and is now living in Las Vegas with her boyfriend.
