31 year-old Rose Downwind has been missing from Bemidji, Minnesota for nearly two weeks, and her family has now enlisted Dog the Bounty Hunter himself to help find what happened to her.
According to Valley News Live, Downwind’s ex-boyfriend told police he saw her leaving his home on Wednesday, October 21. She hasn’t been seen since.
“Rose if you hear this, please get a hold of somebody if you are out there,” Dwa Weston, Downwind’s cousin, said on live television. “We love you, we want you to come home and everybody’s waiting for you to show up Rose. We love you.”
Georgia Downwind, the missing woman’s adopted mother, told reporters that her family suspects the ex-boyfriend had something to do with the disappearance, but that they still don’t have much information.
“No, there’s no real information other than that’s where she disappeared from,” the mother said. “The other thing is that her telephone is not on. It’s dead.”
Downwind’s biological mother, Darla Banks, told the press that Dog the Bounty Hunter has personally hired private investigators to help find what happened to Rose. The legendary bounty hunter has also reportedly offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to her safe return. Dog reportedly did not know Downwind personally, but he was touched when Banks contacted him to ask for his help.
We’ll be praying for Rose Downwind and her family, and we wish them the best of luck!
