Painting your own nails can be a challenging task. When I attempt it, the results resemble a finger painting from a four year old.

But, using Elmer’s Glue can help solve this problem. You won’t believe how easy it can be. This will save me a lot of money on manicures!

What are your manicure secrets? Please share!

Step 1: Grab some white school glue, a paint brush and your nail polish.

Step 2: Paint the glue around your nail. This will act as a barrier between your skin and the polish that will be pulled off after your nails dry. So paint it as close to the nail as possible and wide enough to catch your errors.

Step 3: Let the glue dry. This should take about 10-20 minutes.

Step 4: Paint your nails and let them dry.

Step 5: Peel off the glue.
