Over the weekend, yet another ISIS terrorist attack was launched in the west, this time in London, England.
According to The Political Insider, the attack occurred in the East London subway station of Leytonstone, where a large man who witnesses believed to be Somalian or Sudanese began waving a knife and shouting, “This is for Syria!” He then attacked and stabbed various passengers on the subway platform.
Witnesses say the man screamed “All of your blood will be spilled” in an Arabic accent as he continued the attack.
The attacker stabbed two people during the assault as bystanders quickly defended themselves by throwing bottles at him. Video footage shows them yelling things at him like “put down the knife, fool,” and, “You ain’t no Muslim bruv!”
The response to the latter insult has been overwhelmingly positive.
Scotland Yard is classifying this incident as a terrorist attack.
“We are treating this as a terrorist incident. I would urge the public to remain calm but alert and vigilant,” said Scotland Yard’s head of Counter Terrorism unit, Commander Richard Walton. “I would like to thank everyone who has so far provided information to officers and to the Anti-Terrorist Hotline following this unprovoked violent knife attack last evening at Leytonstone Underground Station.”
