Last week Rock and Roll lost another legend: Glenn Frey, the founding of the great band The Eagles. Frey passed away at the age of 67 from a combination of rheumatoid arthritis and pneumonia.

If you aren’t familiar with The Eagles, you should definitely watch the video below. “Get Over It” is an awesome Rock and Roll theme with an in-your-face conservative theme. The message behind the song is to not think of yourself as a victim when life gets hard; instead, pull yourself up by your boot straps and work hard to make your situation better.

The lyrics are below:

I turn on the tube and what do I see
A whole lotta people cryin’ “Don’t blame me”
They point their crooked little fingers ar everybody else
Spend all their time feelin’ sorry for themselves
Victim of this, victim of that
Your momma’s too thin; your daddy’s too fat
Get over it
Get over it
All this whinin’ and cryin’ and pitchin’ a fit
Get over it, get over it
