A major blizzard is about to descend on Washington, DC. Bad weather isn’t about to stop pro-lifers who have gathered in the nation’s capital. At noon today, the 43rd March for Life will take place.
Every year, the event is largely ignored by national media, despite the fact that hundreds of thousands participate to speak up for the millions of unborn children who have been slaughtered in the name of choice since Roe-vs-Wade legalized abortion. EWTN will be broadcasting the March live.
If you are watching, you will notice a large number of students and young people participating. Young people are known as the Pro Life generation. Many believe this is because so many of them have seen ultrasounds of their siblings and cousins. This technology has been around their entire lives. It’s hard to deny these are actual babies being killed when you are looking at an ultrasound.
Watch the video below to learn about a group of high schoolers who traveled to Washington from Toledo, Ohio to stand up for life.
Weather and distance prevent many of us from participating in the March for Life. And while our hearts might be in Washington today, we are stuck at home or at work. But, you can still join in by taking to social media to get news of the March trending.
You can post articles and pictures from the March on social media platforms using the following hashtags: #WeAreProLife, #MarchForLife, #MFL2016, and #WhyWeMarch. If we overwhelm social media, the March can’t continue to be ignored.
What is your reaction when someone asks if you are pro-life? Please share your thoughts.
