It’s hard to motivate kids to return to school after Christmas break. They want the fun to continue and often aren’t eager to return to the schedule and demands of school days.

One creative seven year old really didn’t want to go back to school. She brought her parents a special letter she claimed came in the mail. This letter was so special that the USPS delivered it on a Sunday.

The letter was from the “school company” declaring it was “taking a brake” and that there was no school that week. The official note bore an official looking Princess stamp to add to its authenticity.

Of course, Cara G had forged the note herself in an attempt to stretch out vacation an extra week. Her parents didn’t fall for it. Instead, they posted it on Reddit to help spread Cara’s extended Christmas cheer with others.

Did your kids ever attempt to trick you into skipping school? What did they do?
