President Barack Obama’s latest plan to impose strict new regulations on U.S. power plants came to a screeching halt on Tuesday with a split decision by the Supreme Court.
According to Western Journalism, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in favor of putting up an immediate roadblock which would block the implementation of carbon emission caps that the Obama administration love.

Obama has often defended his plan to slash power plant emissions by claiming it would help stave off the effects of global warming. Under his plans, every state would be required to submit a proposal to the Environmental Protection Agency by September detailing how the plants in their borders would slash carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 33 percent before 2030.

Though environmental activists love the plan, state leaders, energy industry representatives and others have pointed out the high compliance cost as a major negative of the plan.
This Supreme Court ruling obviously came as a major defeat for Obama. SHARE if you think he got what he deserved!
