A Pevely, Missouri man had enough of jerks driving on his lawn. Concerned with the anti-gun rhetoric from the White House, he decided to solve the problem creatively.

He hid boards with nails sticking up in his grass. He wanted the people turfing his lawn with their cars to pay a price – and buying some new tires might teach them to respect other people’s property.

While his neighbors understood why he was doing this, they were concerned. They worried that children and animals could get hurt by these hidden nails.

Police came to his home and removed the boards. But, it’s not necessarily illegal. The Pevely City Council has planned to address the issue of booby traps because of this.

The man just wanted to defend his property and he tried to do this creatively. But, it looks like he might be limited on how he can do that.

How would you handle people who are trashing your yard? How far is too far in your opinion? Watch the video below and tell us what you think.
