There is a sharp contrast between political parties this year. The electorate really seems to want outsiders, but the outsiders from the Republican and Democratic parties are polar opposites.
Donald Trump is a successful billionaire. The real estate tycoon is well known for amassing great fortune and winning along the way. He has never run for office before. This highlights the fact that he is indeed an outsider.
Bernie Sanders claims to be an outsider but he has been elected to office since 1980. As someone who was first elected to Congress in 1990, it’s hard to see how someone who is so ingrained in the federal government can consider himself to be an outsider.
Bernie is one of the poorest members of Congress. He lists his only personal asset as his pension. Everything else is in his second wife’s name. He has $65,000 in credit card debt. And now he wants to take his irresponsible spending to the White House.
But, Bernie keeps racking up wins against Hillary. He has bested the former First Lady in 7 of the last 8 contests. This is a man who has lived off the government, pretty much his entire adult life, and wants to tax Americans up to 90%. Sanders wants us to #FeelTheBern, but it seems the only thing burning will be our wallets if he is elected. Check out the video below of a typical Bernie supporter.
Trump, on the other hand, is defined by his success. What a contrast to loser Bernie!
