The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is up to no good. They are looking into whether they should deem wearing an image of the Gadsen flag to work as racial harassment.

The reason for investigating this issue? ONE man complained more than TWO years ago! Here’s the catch, the man who was wearing a “Don’t Tread on Me” hat never even said anything racist to the individual who filed the complaint.

In fact, it looks like the man is trying to use the government to carry out his own personal grudge. The man who filed the complaint had already complained to his bosses about the issue. Those bosses actually asked the man to remove his hat. Fortunately, the man refused and continued to wear his hat with pride!

But that didn’t stop the EEOC from taking up the case and issuing a preliminary ruling:

It is clear that the Gadsden Flag originated in the Revolutionary War in a non-racial context. Moreover, it is clear that the flag and its slogan have been used to express various non-racial sentiments, such as when it is used in the modern Tea Party political movement, guns rights activism, patriotic displays and by the military. However, whatever the historic origins and meaning of the symbol, it also has since been sometimes interpreted to convey racially-tinged messages in some contexts.

They concluded, “In light of the ambiguity in the current meaning of this symbol, we find that Complainant’s claim must be investigated to determine the specific context in which C1 displayed the symbol in the workplace.”

Is this a joke? They obviously understand the flag has absolutely no racial overtones to it whatsoever. They even state that. But because someone took offense to it, they are going to “further investigate.” This is a complete waste of tax payer money — your money — and is an inherent example of what the flag stood against. An armed populace is like a rattlesnake that won’t allow the boot of government to suppress it. The EEOC is that boot and they are attempting to wipe out a time-honored American patriotic symbol.

Share this if You Proudly Display your Gadsen Flag! Don’t Tread On Me!
