Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte and Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz are looking to put Hillary Clinton finally behind bars. The two chairmen laid out a case where the former Secretary of State will face perjury charges regarding her secret email server.
The Chairmen note the evidence the FBI collected and presented during its investigation of Clinton directly contradicts what Hillary’s testimony before Congress last year.
Watch as Clinton’s lies don’t match up with FBI Director James Comey’s findings.
And Trey Gowdy got straight to the point when he grilled the FBI Director setting up the perjury case against Hillary Clinton
It’s very obvious that Hillary Clinton lied to Congress. Clinton said she didn’t receive or send information marked classified. However, she did receive three such documents.
Clinton also said her lawyers “went through every single email.” Comey called this lie out too, stating the lawyers only used search terms and subject lines.
The chairmen referred their case to U.S. Attorney Channing D. Phillips, the chief federal prosecutor in Washington D.C. with the following statement:
Although there may be other aspects of Secretary Clinton’s sworn testimony that are at odds with the FBI’s findings, her testimony in those four areas bears specific scrutiny in light of the facts and evidence FBI Director James Comey described in his public statement on July 5, 2016 and in testimony before the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on July 7, 2016.
It will be interesting to see how far this case will go given the blatant roadblocks and the current administration’s outright unwillingness to go after Clinton.
The FBI Director refused to recommend charges. The Department of Justice (DOJ) refused to press charges given the FBI’s recommendation. The DOJ also blocked three separate FBI investigations into the Clinton Foundation. The DOJ also fought against Clinton testifying under oath about her emails. Oh, let’s not forget how the State Department dragged its feet to cooperate with the FBI investigation.
Hillary Clinton should be in jail for any number of the crimes she has committed. It’s time our government held those who break the laws accountable especially if they deem themselves worthy enough to wield that power over the entire United States of America!
Share if you STAND with Chairmen Goodlatte and Chaffetz in seeing Hillary PROSECUTED for PERJURY!
