Ever watch something that is 10, 15, or 20 years old and see somebody talking about something that is actually happening today? In this interview with Matt Drudge, Roy Masters talked about emotionalism taking over politics and how something like a school shooting (Columbine) would prompt political leaders to go after the guns in such situations. He called it “legislation by emotion” and it’s now worse than ever.

How right is that? How many times has President Obama used emotion as a means of attempting to advance his agenda? How often do we see Democrats in Congress yell and scream about “injustices” that need to be rectified via legislation?

As Masters said, reason and logic take a backseat to emotional politics when it comes to the left and their agenda.
