CBS News is reporting that the suspect in the Ohio State University attack is a 20-year-old Somali man.

This report is being corroborated by MSNBC Producer Jesse Rodriguez.
InfoWars notes that the attack sounds similar to recent ISIS-inspired attacks in Europe.
Reports indicate the suspect used a vehicle to attack students standing outside a building. The students had evacuated the building after a fire alarm. After hitting them with his car, he then began attacking them with a sharp object. Some reports indicate a knife while others indicate a machete.
InfoWars notes that ISIS-inspired attacks have been using machetes. In July, a Muslim migrant attacked 21 people on a German train with a machete. In August, an Algerian man attacked two female police officers in Belgium with a machete.
Also in July, Tunisian resident of France Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel murdered 86 people and injured 434 using a 19 tonne cargo truck during Bastille Day in Nice, France.
This reported attack combines those of the Nice attack along with those of Germany and Belgium.
ISIS has called for similar attacks such as the one in Nice.
It’s unclear whether this attack was terrorist related at this time, but it sure does resemble one.
A witness to the attack indicates that the man was “slashing” wildly rather than targeting one specific person.
