The rights of a property owner are being trampled upon in Italy to accommodate refugees and it was all captured in a shocking video.
Luigi Fogli owns the Hotel Lory in Ficorolo in the region of Venuto in Northeastern Italy. The government forcibly entered the octogenarian’s hotel and confiscated it until April 1st to accommodate refugees.
Fogli, who is in his 80’s told the police, “Know that you will find the gate closed and me tied to the door!” He was desperately trying to keep control of his hotel from the migrants and the government.
In the video below, you can see Fogli trying to keep the hotel from being confiscated. He wouldn’t give them the keys. He was told that they would have to damage the property and he would be forced to pay for the repairs. The video ends with the migrants coming into his hotel.
Absolutely unbelievable that they would seize this elderly man’s business for refugees. Fogli was so upset that he had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Fogli originally inquired about renting rooms out to migrants, but when he learned he would get next to nothing for doing so, he took a pass. But, the prefecture wasn’t happy about that so they seized control and allowed the unwelcome migrants to stay there anyhow.
This makes me even more thankful that Donald Trump is our President-elect. There is no way that citizens will be tossed out into the cold to accommodate refugees.
