The 2017 Academy Awards was a self-righteous spectacle of leftist celebrations that ended in a huge debacle. Besides the wrong movie being awarded Best Picture, there was another spectacle that needed to be addressed when an Iranian’s acceptance speech was completely political.
Iranian film director Asghar Farhadi previously said he wouldn’t attend the event out of solidarity with Iran and the other countries impacted by President Trump’s immigration ban. But, when he won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film, a letter was read that took Trump to task and exposed Farhadi’s own hypocrisy.
Tomi Lahren noticed the hypocrisy of an Iranian lecturing Americans on human rights. Farhadi lives in a country where women and gays are suppressed so he really doesn’t have any right to lecture us on human rights of any kind. He should instead be looking at those who are the very oppressed right where he lives.
Watch Tomi hammer away at him:
Someone get that man a mirror. His complaints apply directly to himself and his government – not ours! You can watch the acceptance speech in the tweet below.

This man lives in a country that is a state sponsor of terror, yet he’s upset with President Trump? What nonsense!
Share this if you agree with Tomi that Iran should not be coddled!
