The Jewish Children’s Museum in Brooklyn was evacuated this morning following a bomb threat.

The museum is located on the corner of Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights.

The police reported the museum received an email threat at approximately 9:30 a.m.

The bomb squad is currently on site investigating the museum.

This most recent threat comes just days after bomb threats targeted Jewish community centers across the country on Tuesday from New York to Florida to Wisconsin and Illinois. Threats prompted the evacuations in buildings in over 30 states.

In fact, there have been over 120 bomb threats targeted at 100 Jewish Community Center schools, child care, and other similar facilities since January.

Last week, Juan Thompson, a former journalist for the Intercept, was arrested for making threats to Jewish centers. Police believe he was just a copycat using the threats to get back at a former lover.
