At least 2 school districts are closed today so that teachers can protest President Donald Trump.
To mark International Women’s Day, schools in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City, North Carolina, and Alexandria, Virginia, have shut their doors.
This “Day Without Women” is supposed to be a resistance effort against Donald Trump. The only problem is, it deprives children of a day of learning, all for a political agenda.
If this is successful, there may be more copycat school closures in the future.
What do you think? Should schools be allowed to close because of a political agenda?
Share if think children shouldn’t pay the price for their teachers’ political protests!
