When Eddie Neal died of a heart attack in 2004, he purposely left his greedy daughter Melanie out of his will. Ten years later, she decided to dig up his vault, thinking a new copy of his will was buried with him. Unfortunately for her, she turned out to be very wrong…

Because the will that cut her off was drafted in 1995, Melanie was convinced that her sister Susie had buried a newer copy with their dad. Accompanied by a few friends, the greedy daughter broke into her father’s vault at  Colebrook Village Cemetery in New Hampshire, and what she found inside left her stunned.

All Melanie found inside her father’s tomb was a bottle of vodka and some cigarettes.

Susie Nash says she will never forget what her sister just did.

“It still leaves an impact on you,” Susie said, according to Conservative Tribune. “Every time I visit the cemetery, I will be thinking of this.”

Melanie, however, sees nothing wrong with what she did.

“All this was done for the right reasons and I know my father would be OK with it,” she told police. “What we all did was to dig up my father’s coffin, Eddie Nash, looking for documents. We did it with respect.”

Melanie Nash has since been charge with a lengthy list of crimes, including including abuse of a corpse, criminal mischief, interference with a cemetery and conspiracy.
