Hikers were traveling through the woods of Montana when they came upon what they thought was an abandoned caboose of a train. When they went inside, they found out that they were very wrong.

The caboose is actually a small hotel that is both luxurious and spacious. Capable of housing up to six people, it gives skiers and hikers alike a place to stay as they travel through Montana’s Glacier National Park.

The caboose features two bunk beds, a master suite with a gas fireplace, and a beautiful kitchen. The caboose is part of the Izaak Walton Inn, and it’s not their only converted train car. They have many others in the area that are each as luxurious as the last.

“We get a lot of rail fans here who just go crazy over the trains,” Elise Wright, assistant general manager of the inn. He added that the trains are very popular with families.

“Kids love the train cars,” Wright continued.
