Since Obama became president in 2008, he has faced accusations that he was actually born in Kenya. Both he and Michelle have slipped up at points and even admitted that Obama was born in the African nation.

Perhaps because of all the controversy, Obama has refused to visit Kenya, which has caused many to accuse him of being afraid to go there out of fear for what would come out. However, on Monday the White House announced that Obama will indeed visit Kenya in July of this year.

According to Mediaite, Obama will go there to attend the 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Summit this summer. Here’s the official White House press release announcing the trip:

Though Obama has visited Sub-Saharan Africa three times since becoming president, he has consistently avoided Kenya. It remains to be seen whether this trip will expose any secrets about Obama’s controversial past.
