For over a week now, we have been reporting on the mysterious closings of five Walmarts across the country.

2,200 Walmart employees at five stores in different cities were laid off last Tuesday and given just a few hours notice. Walmart claimed that the stores had to be closed due to plumbing issues, but many have questioned this explanation since all the stores were located in different parts of the country.

The mainstream media has focused on the fact that 2,200 employees were fired from the major corporation. However, there’s more to this story than meets the eye. According to The Federalist, all full-time and part-time employees were put on leave for the next two months. Any full-time worker that does not have another job by June 19 will be eligible for a severance package.

This sounds like a much better deal than what was being portrayed by the media, who made it appear as if the 2,200 employees were thrown out on the street.

This doesn’t explain why the Walmarts were closed, but it is yet another twist in an already very complicated story. Since the stores were closed last week, conspiracy theories have ran rampant as many accused the government of shutting down the stores as part of Operation Jade Helm, which is a military training exercise.

During this exercise, soldiers from four branches in the military will conduct missions among the American public to see if they can do so without being noticed. Many see this as a dry-run for martial law.
