Obama has announced plans for a new climate change executive order, and the backlash from Republicans has been swift.

Obama is trying to make a global agreement that would cut greenhouse gas emissions by 28% from 2005 levels within the next decade. The president plans to accomplish this by using existing laws and executive orders to target power plants, vehicles, oil and gas production and buildings. In order to accomplish all this, he needs other nations to get on board, and Republicans aren’t about to let this happen.

Conservative politicians have warned other nations to “proceed with caution” in deals with Obama, as any deal made could later be undone. They pointed out that Obama lacks both the political and legal backing to actually make a deal like this happen.

“Considering that two-thirds of the U.S. federal government hasn’t even signed off on the Clean Power Plan and 13 states have already pledged to fight it, our international partners should proceed with caution before entering into a binding, unattainable deal,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said, according to Yahoo News.

Once again, it seems that Obama has made a series of promises that he has no intention of keeping.  We guess he got tired of lying just to the American people, so now he wants to lie to the entire world. Shame on you, Barry!
