For over a week now, we have been reporting on the mysterious closings of five Walmarts across the country.

2,200 Walmart employees at five stores in different cities were laid off last Tuesday and given just a few hours notice. Walmart claimed that the stores had to be closed due to plumbing issues, but many have questioned this explanation since all the stores were located in different parts of the country.

While most of the country is mystified as to why the Walmart stores closed, Texans believe that they know what happened.

Texans are convinced that the Walmart stores were shut down because of a top secret military operation that is possibly Jade Helm. Residents of Big Spring, Texas, where one of the Walmarts closed, have seen tanks and helicopters flying into their town over the course of the last week. Theorists also point to the mysterious Walmart tunnels as evidence that the government is up to something there.

“The tunneling project is a joint venture involving the National Security Agency, CIA, FBI, MiB, Homeland Security & a few other groups,” a suspicious American wrote online. “The addition of new Walmart facilities in northwest Georgia gives spur hubs and depots easy access to large areas that can be partitioned off for moving of very large equipment and large numbers of people in case of national emergency.”

Operation Jade Helm is set to take place from July to September, and many see it as a dry run for martial law. Spacious Walmarts are the perfect places to act as a home base in small towns across America, so the military could have easily shut the stores down for this reason.
