Dolls are some of the first friends that young girls ever make, but in recent years they have been generating controversy for wearing obscene amounts of makeup.

Moms everywhere have been saying that this sends the wrong message to their young daughters about how they should look. Knowing this, one mom decided to take action.

Sonia Singh invented a company called Tree Changers, and they give hyper-sexualized dolls a makeunder of sorts to make them more presentable for young girls.

Singh, an Australian artist and scientist, removes the doll’s makeup, making them look more human. She says she was never trying to make a big statement about society, instead she was just trying to give the dolls a more “down-to-earth, natural looking style.”
