Barack Obama may have less than two years left in office, but new reports reveal he is planning to go out with a bang.
With the little time he has left in office, Obama is reportedly planning to enact the policies he never could have gotten away with earlier in his term. One of the main items on his agenda is slavery reparations, which experts predict he is already preparing to push for in 2016.
Fox Business Network Charles Payne has pointed out that Chicago has recently announced that they will be giving money to anyone who can prove they were tortured by Chicago police commander Jon Burge. Payne, host of the hit show Making Money, says that this represents the beginning of Obama’s plans to secure slavery reparations.
“The news [from Chicago] is a glimpse of much bigger news that is going to come from the White House, next year, I’m leaning towards,” Payne speculated. “I think that there’s going to be an official apology from the White House to slavery in America and then a major push to get cash, and I’m talking lots of cash.”
“Many including those closest to President Obama will push him to make this happen,” Payne continued. “I actually think it would be a major mistake. Instead, Obama should really discuss and focus on all of the progress we have made and how all Americans need to move forward for better days for all of our kids.”
Tea Party News Network director Scottie Nell Hughes agreed with Payne when she appeared on his show.
“Sure, slavery was a horrible thing that happened, but this is not going to help race relations in the United States today,” she said.
