NBC has announced that they have ended their relationship with Donald Trump in the wake of his controversial comments about Mexico.

We’ve already reported that Univision had decided to end their relationship with Donald Trump by refusing to air his Miss Universe pageant after he complained about Mexicans during his campaign announcement.

On Monday morning, NBC followed suit with this statement:

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values.

Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.

To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC .
In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in “The Apprentice” on NBC.”

Donald Trump has worked with NBC for over ten years, as his hit reality show aired on the network beginning in 2004. However, last week, NBC scrambled to distance themselves from Trump after he complained that immigrants from Mexico are “rapists” who are bringing crime to the U.S.

“Donald Trump’s opinions do not represent those of NBC, and we do not agree with his positions on a number of issues, including his recent comments on immigration,” NBC commented last week.

Knowing Trump, he won’t be taking this news lying down. He has already spoken out against Univision, banning all of their employees from his Miami golf course. We’re assuming he will go even further in retaliating against NBC…
