Earlier today, we reported that NBC had decided to part ways with Donald Trump after the “controversial” comments he made about Mexico during his campaign announcement.

Now, Trump has responded in typical Trump-fashion, threatening to sue the major news network.

Earlier this morning, NBC released a statement in which they explained that they would be parting ways with Trump and not airing his annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants:

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values.

Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.

To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC .
In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in “The Apprentice” on NBC.”

When asked what he thinks about NBC’s decision, Trump blamed it on the fact that they didn’t want him to run in the first place. He pointed out that they wanted him to return for another season of the reality show Celebrity Apprentice, which was already renewed by the network.

Trump added that while he has enjoyed a “great” relationship with NBC for more than a decade, he will not back down on his views on immigration.

What do you think about what Trump had to say? Let us know in the comments section.
