A few weeks ago, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg appeased liberals everywhere by officiating a same sex marriage. Unfortunately for her, this move may have now landed her in big trouble…

Bader Ginsburg, 82, performed the marriage between two men on May 17, citing her constitutional right to do so. However, the Supreme Court will not be announcing their decision on whether or not the constitution allows for same sex marriage until later in June.

According to Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore, this means that what Bader Ginsburg did is grounds for impeachment.

“She’s basically thumbing her nose in front of the other justices that she’s going to say what she wants to say and do what she wants to do, and she’s going to ignore the rules of ethics,” Moore told the press, adding that all judges are bound by those rules.

“I think there’s grounds for the legislature of the United States and Congress to act,” Moore continued. “They could act to impeach her; they could remove her for bad behavior, because judges serve for good behavior under Article 3 (of the Constitution).”

Moore concluded that the fact that Bader Ginsburg made a public statement that the constitution gave her the right to perform a same sex ceremony is unethical given her role in the Obergefell v. Hodges case.

“They could find that’s bad behavior and subject to impeachment and removal,” he said.

Bader Ginsburg is arguably the most liberal judge on the Supreme Court, so removing her from the highest court in the land would be a dream come true for conservatives all over the country.
