Last night, it was revealed that Jep Robertson of the hit show Duck Dynasty was molested by an older girl when he was just 6 years-old. Today, his niece Sadie is trying to move forward from the difficult personal scandal by making an announcement of her own.

17 year-old Sadie recently announced on Instagram that she will be hosting the “Live Original LIVE” on August 29 at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. The event will reportedly promote the Christian, conservative values that Sadie encourages other young people to follow.

“The event will highlight those who are following Sadie’s call to ‘live original’ in all areas of their lives including their schools, communities, and relationships,” according to the Live Original website.

Appearing alongside Sadie at the event will be her brother John Luke and his fiance Mary Kate McEacharn, her boyfriend Blake Coward, The Bachelor couple Sean and Catherine Lowe, as well as award-winning Christian singing duo For King & Country.

Sadie’s close friends Max and Bonnie Kate Zoghbi are also set to speak about their inspiring tale of faith after their recent marriage. Youtube star Natasha Bure, daughter of Candace Cameron and Valeri Bure, will also be speaking at the event.

“This is the most excited I have ever been about any event, and that’s saying a lot!” said Sadie. “We have been praying that this message will touch a lot of lives.”

Tickets range from $29-199, and can be purchased at www.LiveOriginal.com or by contacting the Allen Arena box office at (615) 966-7075.

We applaud Sadie for continuing to spread her message to “live original,” despite the difficult time her family is going through. Family is everything to Sadie, so what happened to her uncle must have hit her hard as well. We’ll be keeping Sadie, Jep, and the whole Robertson family in our prayer!
