This tip will show you how to keep the bacon meat moist and tender while you cook it — while still achieving the perfect crispness. The best part about the trick? It takes only one minute to do!

Here’s how it works:

Put your bacon in a skillet on high heat, then pour water over it so that all the meat is covered.

Before long, the water will come to a boil. At this point, you should lower the heat from high to medium and let the bacon simmer. Eventually, the water will all burn away. When this happens, put the heat on low and let your bacon get as crisp as you want it.
