For the last few months, Texas has been in crisis after an Islamic tribunal was set up in the state in an attempt to enforce Shariah law. However, the state legislature has just made a move that will show Muslims that Texas is NOT the state to mess with.

The Texas Senate has passed a bill that would prevent any “international law” from being used in Texas civil courts. The measure has already been sent to Governor Greg Abbott to be written into law.

While liberals have slammed the bill as “Islamaphobic,” Shariah law is never actually mentioned in it. Instead, it says no “foreign courts” will be adopted by Texas civil court judges.

“It’s just to provide some belt and suspenders to make sure that, with judicial discretion, we don’t trump Texas law, American law, with a foreign law regarding family law,” commented State Sen. Donna Campbell (R-New Braunfels).

Despite this, Muslims are calling the bill a “solution looking for problem.” Clearly, they’re just bitter because their plans to enforce Shariah law in one of America’s most patriotic states has been ruined.

You might want to try to go for this in a more liberal state next time, Muslims, because Texans won’t be having any of it!
