It’s almost time for the Obama family’s annual summer vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, and just like their previous trips, they won’t be holding back at all in terms of expenses.

According to Daily Mail, the first family will be staying on Martha’s Vineyard from August 8-23, and they are expected to stay at the same $12 million “cottage” in Chilmark that they rented last year.

Don’t let the name fool you though: this is NO cottage.

2A4A053B00000578-3151338-image-a-5_1436229248267Features of the 8,100-square-foot home include seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a basketball/tennis court, hot tub, infinity pool and views of the Elizabeth Islands. The home belongs to wealthy widow Joanna Hubschman, whose late husband Harry Hubschman was a major contributor to the campaigns of both Obama and Hillary Clinton before his death from cancer in 2011.

Last summer, Obama spent most of his vacation at the mansion on the golf course, refusing to cut his trip short despite the fact that ISIS was just beginning to release their videos depicting the beheadings of American hostages.

Of course, like every other Obama vacation, this one will be paid for by the American taxpayers, who will be shelling out $12 million just for this home alone. We will also undoubtedly be paying millions more for transportation as well as living costs for the Obamas’ entourage.


This news comes just a month after Michelle from a Eurotrip in which she spent hundreds of thousands of tax dollars on extravagant hotels and shopping sprees. It’s sickening that despite the fact that our country is in debt and Americans everywhere are struggling, the Obamas continue to spend millions of tax dollars on themselves…
