Last week, Donald Trump’s haters were stunned when he was named as the frontrunner in the GOP race.

The news sent Trump’s fellow candidates scrambling, since they had never expect him to actually make it to the top of the polls. In the wake of his news, Trump’s 2011 book Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again is once again receiving lots of media attention, as many are looking to it to figure out what Trump’s plans for America are.

“(“Time to Get Tough”) is the best book I’ve ever written,” Trump said of the publication, according to Conservative Tribune. “It’s the hardest I’ve ever worked on a book. And it’s the most thought I’ve ever put into a book.”

The book shows that Trump isn’t the brainless publicity hound the mainstream media would have you believe. Instead, he is someone who has put tons of thought into ways that he can make this country better. In the book, Trump referenced works like the Government Accountability Office reports and Sherman Antitrust Act amendments. He also wrote about policy solutions for crime, cyber warfare, energy use, health care, illegal immigration, the national defense, taxes and welfare reform.

Breitbart reported this week that “’Time to Get Tough’ rivals all other GOP presidential candidates’ books in both specificity and serious policy proposals.” After checking it out ourselves, we’re inclined to agree!

If the other GOP candidates want to beat Trump, they need to step up their game and start taking him seriously. If they do not, they’ll have to sit and watch him secure the Republican nomination.
