For the last few months, Hillary Clinton has been operating under the assumption that she will be getting the Democratic nomination for president during the 2016 election. However, a new poll just revealed that this may not happen after all…

According to Bloomberg, Vice President Joe Biden is now polling better against the top three Republican candidates than Clinton does. In addition, Biden also has a higher favorability rating than the former Secretary of State.

A Quinnipiac University poll released on Thursday revealed that Biden would beat Donald Trump by eight points (48-40) if he were the Democratic candidate. Biden would also beat Jeb Bush by six points (45-39), and Marco Rubio by three points (44-41).

Clinton’s numbers aren’t nearly this could. She would reportedly beat Trump by just four points (45-41), Bush by two points (42-40), and Rubio by only one point (44-43).

83% of Democrats view Biden favorably, while only 76% and 54 % approve of Clinton. In a poll of all voters, Biden has a 48% favorability rating while Clinton has just 39%.

“Note to Biden: They like you, they really like you, or they like you more than the others,” Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said in a press release. “If he is sitting on the fence, his scores in the matchups and his favorability ratings may compel him to say, ‘Let’s do this.’”

These numbers are already causing Democrat elites to rethink their strategy of trying to secure Clinton the nomination. Now, it could be better for their party to ditch Clinton and instead support Biden, and the former first lady is in panic mode today trying desperately to save her campaign.
