Peyton Manning is known for his impressive career in football, but he just revealed that he’s been carrying a secret for years now that NOBODY saw coming.

According to Conservative Tribune, Manning has not had any feeling in his fingertips since 2011, when he had surgery to perform a spinal fusion on his neck to repair a nerve that caused his throwing arm to weaken. Manning was forced to sit out for the whole season because of the surgery, and he has had no feeling in his fingertips since he woke up after the operation.

“I can’t feel anything in my fingertips. It’s crazy,” Manning said in a recent interview. “I’ve talked to a doctor recently who said, ‘Don’t count on the feeling coming back.'”

Manning told stunned reporters that his condition is more frustrating than anything else, and that he struggled with it for years because doctors originally told him the feeling could come back any day.

“So you wake up every day thinking, today’s the day!” Manning lamented. “Then it’s not.”

One would think that having no feeling in your fingertips would make it harder to play football, but it doesn’t seem to have affected Manning all that much. In fact, he has been even better at the sport since the surgery, meaning that he’s an even more amazing athlete than we thought!
