At the Republican debate last Thursday, Megyn Kelly tried to save her struggling television show by going after Donald Trump in front of millions of people.

Unfortunately for her, this turned out to be a huge mistake.

The backlash against Kelly for her inexcusable behavior during the debate was swift. Thousands signed a petition demanding she be banned from ever hosting a debate again, and even her co-anchors at Fox started to turn on her. Things got worse for her when Trump himself fired back at her, and yesterday it was revealed that Kelly is taking offers from other networks.

While Fox stood by Kelly at first, the ratings boost they have gotten from Trump has caused them to change their tune. Though most Fox personalities have been instructed to be nicer to Trump, Andrea Tantaros defied her network to slam the business mogul during Monday’s episode of Outnumbered.

According to Conservative Tribune, Tantaros called Trump a “troublemaker” for distracting people from real issues. She also added that Americans should be focusing on the battle between Republicans and Democrats, rather than the battle between Trump and Fox.

“We should be fighting against this Iran deal,” she explained. “We should be fighting against ISIS. We should be fighting for more secure borders.”

“There’s a lot of battles to fight,” Tantaros continued. “Fighting a battle with a female newswoman is not one of them.”

The Fox anchor went on to call Trump’s tactics “the lowest form of political discussion,” and to say that women everywhere should be offended.

“The enemy is not Megyn Kelly,” Tantaros concluded. “And the enemy should not be her or this channel.”

Fox is undoubtedly livid with Tantaros, as the network is now trying to reestablish a positive relationship with Trump. What do you think about what she said? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
